Crash is the simplest high-tension game on the site: a multiplier climbs from 1.00x, and it busts at a point that was already decided before the round opened. Cash out in time and your OSRS GP stake is multiplied; leave it a beat too long and it's gone. Everyone plays the same round at the same time, so the multiplier you see is the multiplier everyone else sees.

How to play Crash

  1. Choose OSRS GP, RS3 GP or SB and set your stake. Add an auto cash-out anywhere from 1.01x if you want the game to bank for you - it fires on the server, so it still pays if you close the tab.
  2. Join during the 15-second betting window. The live list shows everyone in the round and what they've staked, and you can pull your bet back out any time before launch.
  3. The multiplier climbs from 1.00x and speeds up the longer the round survives. Every player in the round watches the same curve.
  4. Press Cash Out before it busts. You're paid your stake times the multiplier on screen at that moment, priced off the server's clock rather than your browser's.
  5. If it busts first, the stake is lost. The crash point and the round's seed are revealed straight away, and the next betting window opens a few seconds later.

About Crash

The crash point comes straight out of the round's provably fair hash: crash_point = 0.99 / (1 - f), where f is a uniform fraction derived from the seeds. That single 0.99 is the entire house edge. It means a fixed-target strategy returns 99% no matter what target you pick - cashing out at 1.5x, at 10x or at 100x all have the same expected value, and measured across the full range the realised RTP sits between 98.8% and 99.1%. There is no target that beats the house and no target that is punished more than another.

Because it's one server-owned round rather than a private curve per player, the live bet list is real: you can see who is still in, who cashed out and at what multiplier, and what they were staking. That also means nobody's outcome can be influenced by yours.

Crash is the most volatile of the low-edge originals. Long runs of early busts are normal and expected - a 99% RTP is a long-run average, not a promise about your next twenty rounds.

Crash FAQ

Is Crash rigged?

No. Every round is generated from a server seed that is hashed and shown to you before you bet, combined with a client seed you control and an incrementing nonce. When you rotate your seed the old server seed is revealed, so you can replay every round it produced and confirm nothing changed after the fact. For Crash specifically the whole round is one number, so verifying a round is a single hash and one division you can do yourself.

What is the best cash-out multiplier in Crash?

Mathematically there isn't one. Because the edge is applied once to the crash-point formula rather than to any particular target, every fixed target returns the same 99% over time. Lower targets win more often for less; higher targets win rarely for more. Pick the volatility you want, not the 'best' number.

Can I play Crash with OSRS gold?

Yes. Stakes are in Old School RuneScape gold (or RS3 GP), traded in game with a real host - not a token you can't cash back out. You can switch between OSRS GP, RS3 GP and SB from the stake box without leaving the game.

Does everyone get the same crash point?

Yes. Crash runs as one shared round the whole site joins, so every player in that round sees the same multiplier bust at the same instant.
