Pick up to ten numbers from a grid of forty, and ten are drawn. How many you match decides your multiplier, and the risk level you choose decides how brutally that multiplier is weighted toward the top end. Classic pays something for almost any hit; high risk pays nothing until you're several matches in.

How to play Keno

  1. Choose a risk level: classic, low, medium or high. Classic pays something on most rounds; high pays nothing until several of your numbers hit, then pays far more.
  2. Pick 1 to 10 numbers from the 40-square grid, or use random pick to fill it for you.
  3. Set your stake and press Bet. Ten numbers are drawn from the forty.
  4. Your multiplier depends on how many of your picks were among the ten drawn, and it's paid instantly.
  5. Switch to Auto to play the same card for a set number of rounds.

About Keno

Every (risk, pick-count) column in the paytable was solved so that the sum of each outcome's probability times its multiplier comes to exactly 0.98 against the real hypergeometric odds of matching k of your picks out of 10 draws from 40. That means the 2% edge is identical whether you pick one number on classic or ten on high - the only thing that changes is how the 98% is distributed.

High risk with 9 or 10 picks is where the 1,000x lives, needing 9 or 10 matches respectively. Classic is the opposite: something comes back on most rounds, including a small return for matching nothing on some columns.

Keno FAQ

How many numbers should I pick in Keno?

It makes no difference to your expected return - every pick count is solved to the same 98%. More picks with high risk means rarer, larger wins; fewer picks on classic means frequent small ones.

What is the house edge on Keno?

Exactly 2% on every risk level and every pick count.

Is Keno provably fair?

Every round is generated from a server seed that is hashed and shown to you before you bet, combined with a client seed you control and an incrementing nonce. When you rotate your seed the old server seed is revealed, so you can replay every round it produced and confirm nothing changed after the fact.
